"SAS LAFAURE comes from a long family tradition of exploitation and marketing of mineral substances. It has been able to evolve and adapt, relying on proven know-how, to best meet the needs of its time while maintaining a fierce desire to defend local heritage. To date, the SME with 30 employees develops and offers three different activities, all in the heart of the department that is dear to it, the Dordogne. SAS Lafaure also owns a silico-clay sand quarry which it markets mainly to foundries where this natural material is still used. Its high proportion of clay makes it an excellent ""molding sand"" or otherwise called ""green sand"". Our primary desire is to offer a healthy product, bentonite clay, while respecting its intrinsic properties as much as possible. To do this, we have established a rigorous manufacturing process validated by various certifying bodies."
