Recommended Uses

YELLOW GAS LINE can be used on galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, ABS and fiberglass threaded piping. It is chemically inert and is suitable for use on systems carrying almost all types of chemicals and gasses.

Direction for Use
  1. Remove plastic spool
  2. Apply tape clockwise onto male threads
  3. Make up joint in a normal manner

Note: On large diameter pipe 4" (10.2 cm) and up, first wrap the pipe threads with two or more thicknesses of YELLOW GAS LINE, then apply SELECT-UNYTE over the tape.
