PTFE TAPE can be used on all types of threaded fittings for passage of water potable and non-potable, most chemicals, oxygen, gas, hydraulic and high pressure lines. It is chemically inert and is suitable for use on systems carrying almost all types of chemicals and gasses.

- Remove plastic spool
- Apply tape clockwise onto male threads
- Make up joint in a normal manner
Note: On large diameter pipe 4" (10.2 cm) and up, first wrap the pipe threads with two or more thicknesses of PTFE TAPE, then apply SELECT-UNYTE over the tape.
