Our powerful 20 horsepower pelleting mill transforms these hop cones into T-90 pellets. Each hop lot is analyzed by Langara College’s Bine Hop Research Lab for acids and terpenes (essential oil).

HOOH Organic Hop Idaho Gem is incredibly rich in essential oil terpenes. Smooth and sweet (almost candy-like) herbal, fruity character dominates thanks to low Humulene and Caryophyllene content. Idaho Gem’s superior Myrcene content makes it a perfect compliment to any IPA, especially when dry-hopped. Idaho Gem’s fruit-forward aroma originates from the ester, 2MIB (2-methylbutyl isobutyrate), also found in Sabro, Idaho 7, and El Dorado. Grown in Idaho. Proudly pelleted and packed in British Columbia.

HOOH Organic Hop BC Comet is grown by Birchwood Dairy in Abbotsford and is loaded with 3.1% total oil. Comet is unique because it is almost void of Humulene, which downplays its ‘hoppiness’. Instead, maxed out concentrations of Myrcene and Ocimene give our Comet a zesty, pleasant, and powerful aroma. Finally, Comet’s genetic parentage originates from a wild Canadian hop line, giving Comet its characteristic dank funk character. It is a new alternative to power your hop-forward beers
