"FlameOFF® Coatings, Inc. was founded in 2012. We are a private company based in North Carolina. Our vision began when our company president first delved into the passive fire protection industry and came to the realization that every substrate seemed to require its own individual coating. From there the idea formed: Why not develop a more convenient and cost-effective solution? Instead of having to buy a new coating for every substrate, we decided to supply an option that was compatible with multiple substrates. FlameOFF® is fast becoming a top contender in the passive fire protection industry. We are recognized for products that can save applicators time and resources. Further, we ensure that our products remain relevant and undergo testing regularly. They have passed tests and received certifications and listings from reputable third-party labs like UL and ICC. Now as a leading developer of fire-resistant technologies that protect lives and property, we have a continued mission to better our products and break new records in our testing and certification. Our coatings are compatible with diverse materials and have been tested at accredited third party International Accreditation Service (IAS) fire testing laboratories."
