POLYCAT® DBU is a powerful gel catalyst that offers excellent curing properties at high temperatures, specifically for artificial turf applications. It is a tertiary amine known as diazobicycloundecene (DBU), which greatly enhances the urethane reaction (polyol-isocyanate) in various applications such as semi-flexible microcellular foam, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers.
POLYCAT® SA 1

POLYCAT® SA 1 is a heat-activated, delayed-action polyurethane catalyst that is based on a strong cyclic amine called 1,5-diaza-bicyclo (5.4.0) undec-5-ene. It consists of POLYCAT® DBU and an organic acid "blocker." At room temperature, POLYCAT® SA 1 has low activity, but when heat is applied, its activity increases and becomes comparable to that of metallic salts. When POLYCAT® SA 1 is added to conventional amine catalyst systems, it acts as a delayed-action catalyst. It has a minimal impact on the initial reaction and does not significantly affect the flowability of the foaming mass. Its primary effect is on the final curing properties of the foam, allowing for accelerated curing and improved demould time. This material is a light brown liquid with low volatility and a slight amine-like odor. It is miscible with water and soluble in most organic solvents.
POLYCAT® SA 102

POLYCAT® 41 is a tertiary amine catalyst employed in a wide variety of polyurethane foam and non-foam applications. It is a gel catalyst with added mild PIR selectivity, making it suitable for a wide variety of rigid polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foam and non-foam applications. It is recommended as a co-catalyst in combination with other polyurethane and polyisocyanurate catalysts, particularly in formulations with an isocyanate index greater than 105–110.

POLYCAT® 8 can be batched with polyols or metered separately. Due to their low water solubility, pre-blends containing high water levels must be checked for phase stability.
