Nicron® 402

Nicron® 402 is a high-purity, 4-Hegman microcrystalline talc product with low oil adsorption and minimal viscosity build. Nicron® 402 is part of the Engineered Series of Imerys Talc products that have unique particle size distributions for improved paint performance properties. Nicron® 402 is an excellent choice for modern protective coating applications due to its hydrophobic nature, very low mineral solubility, and proven anti-corrosion performance. Nicron® 402 disperses easily in high-solids and solventborne coatings and gives very good paint stability, rheology, and anti-settling properties.
