- Product Properties
- AFCONA 3777 is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.
- Note: AFCONA 3777 is one of the first developments of fluorocarbon modified acrylics and therefore later developments of AFCONA show improved performances.
- Due to the fluorocarbon modification, it gives lower surface tension than normal pure polyacrylic leveling agents and therefore it gives better anti-crater performance and substrate wetting.
