Crys-TalcĀ® 6H-6HC is a high-brightness, fine, micro-lamellar talc that is recommended for nucleation of polymers and for film and thin-gage polymer applications. It significantly increases the crystallization temperature of semi-crystalline polymers, including polyolefins, polyamides, and polyesters. Crys-TalcĀ® 6H also enhances the stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability of polymer compounds. The high brightness and micro-crystallinity of the talc ore used make Crys TalcĀ® 6H ideal for film or thin sheet applications that require optimum optical properties, e.g., high clarity and low haze. Crys-TalcĀ® 6HC is the compacted form of Crys-TalcĀ® 6H and is recommended for maximum extruder throughput, minimum dust, and improved dispersion.
