Liquirab 100 is an almost colorless solution that is easily filtrated, given these characteristics it can be used at high dosages in finished wines without causing problems with filtration membranes and final wine clarity. Liquirab 100 is used to improve wine stability, notably for proteic substances, colorant matter and different metal “casses”. It also supports the action of metatartaric acid. Given the polysaccharide composition of Liquirab 100 it has an important smoothing and finishing role that gives full and round palate structure to treated wine while masking potential rough tannins.
- Dosage and Instructions for Use
Use in doses from 50 to 200 ml/hl or higher. Slowly pour Liquirab 100 directly into the wine, mix well; the product can be used also through in line dosing. The treatment should be applied to the finished wine, before bottling, either before or after the last fine filtration or membrane passage.
Given the rigorous production process the Liquirab 100 solution does not clog microfiltration cartridges.
