COSM’OIL® KD-ZN

• COSM’OIL® KD-ZN is Nano dispersion of zinc oxide in deodorized seed oil from Pongamia Glabra.
• COSM'OIL® KD-S is a virgin organic pongamia glabra seed oil. It is obtained from grinding and pressing the seeds of the Karanja tree (Pongamia Glabra), followed by deodorization. This natural oil has many interesting cosmetic activities. It naturally absorbs UVB rays and can contribute to the formulation of sunscreen. It has many beneficial properties such as antibacterial, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties.
• Zinc oxide is an inert mineral used as a thickener, whitener, lubricant and sunscreen agent in cosmetic applications. With no potential for skin irritation, zinc oxide is an anti-irritant and a possible antioxidant.

• Indicative values: SPF> 50; UVA> 30
• This pale yellow fluid dispersion can be easily added to all kinds of cosmetic formulations.
• COSM'OIL® KD-ZN provides a feeling of softness to the skin, due to the unique emollient properties of our COSM'OIL® KD-S.

KEY POINTS :

• We recommend an optimal percentage of use of COSM'OIL® KD-ZN up to 25%.
• 8-10% of COSM'OIL® KD-S can increase the SPF value from 8 to 15% with zinc oxide. It has a greater stimulating effect with a higher percentage of COSM'OIL® KD-S, but we advise you to limit the addition of COSM'OIL® KD-S to 10%.
• COSM'OIL® KD-S increases the UV protection level of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, especially for uncoated oxides.
• COSM'OIL® KD-S reduces the aggregation of particles and stabilizes mineral oxides
