ChemPro CP Soft 161 Softener

• Softness, both surface smoothness and flexibility is improved in high quality tissue papers. This lotion is especially effective on calendered tissue sheets that have already a high softness level.
• The product has a low viscosity and can be sprayed.
• The product has a high silicone content which improves the surface smoothness of the tissue product.

Patch testing has been done with tissue treated with CP Soft 161 softener giving the tissue producer the right to make a claim that the product has successfully passed
dermatological tests.

The results of patch testing also depend on the tissue paper properties and other ingredients contents, as well as theapplication system. 

CP Soft 161 is a special softener for tissue paper. The product is applied without dilution on a tissue paper web in a tissue converting operation. It is of sufficiently low viscosity to be sprayed or it can be applied through a coating or printing process such as a flexographic or a rotogravure process. CP Soft 161 cannot be used with an electrostatic spraying system.
CP Soft 161 is designed to provide durable softness to a wide range of fibers without compromising their hydrophilic nature.
CP Soft 161 is designed to impart substantial handfeel improvements to facial tissue in particular at low rates of application. This product improves surface smoothness as
well as the flexibility of the web. Application rates in the order of 2 to 5% by weight are typical.
The product imparts no or little odor change to the tissue. CP Soft 161 will not cause any significant yellowing to the fibers after application which other products have the potential to do.

CP Soft 161 conforms to the State of California Proposition 65 legislation.
Components of CP Soft 161 are not listed in hypoallergenic products formula review prohibited list.

CP Soft 161 should be stored in closed tanks at temperature between +5°C and +35°C. The shelf life for CP Soft 161 is 1 year.
