CP Soft 100A is a non-ionic liquid containing water soluble silicones.

CP Soft 100A is used as a softening agent on the tissue paper machine by spraying a diluted solution on the felt before the suction press. CP Soft 100A will increase the hand-feel of the tissue paper. The increase of surface smoothness and the increase of flexibility of the tissue sheet is dependent on the amount of CP Soft 100A applied, the furnish used for the tissue paper, and the physical characteristics of the tissue paper. On the tissue paper machine, the product is used alone by spraying it at a concentration of typically 10% on the web before the suction press. Or it is combined with a cationic debonder with softening effect, such as CP Debond 637 which is added to the pulp before it reaches the head-box. In tissue converting operations the product is used in a water solution.

CP Soft 100A is delivered in plastic 200 liters drums or on request in tote tanks. Both containers are non returnable.

CP Soft 100A should be stored in closed containers such as tote tanks or drums, at temperature between +5° and +35°C.
