Absoperine® is the standardized extract obtained from dried unripe berries of Black pepper or Piper nigrum. Most commonly, known as King of Spices, pepper boosts taste and aroma of dishes. It can be used as a nutritional supplement to increase the bioavailability of herbal extracts such as curcumin. It acts by breaking down the fat in cells to increase the internal temperature (thermogenesis) which in turn increases the metabolism and absorptive functions.
