TU100 is a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) fiber-reinforced uni-directional tape that processes in the 600-650oF (315-345oC) temperature range. The prepreg is used in a variety of high performance, structural composite applications. PPS is a high temperature semi-crystalline polymer with a good combination of toughness, chemical and solvent resistance, low moisture absorption and superior FST properties. TU300 is a polyetherketoneketone (PEKK) fiber-reinforced uni-directional tape that processes in the 675-725oF (360-385oC) temperature range. The prepreg is used in a variety of high performance, structural composite applications. PEKK is a high temperature semi-crystalline polymer with a good combination of toughness, chemical and solvent resistance, low moisture absorption and superior FST properties.

Phenolic resins are renowned for their excellent high temperature resistance, flame resistance, low smoke generation and low toxicity in fire situations. Phenolics are used in vehicle armor applications that utilize these properties in combination with E-glass and other high performance glass fibers. Phenolics are very rigid, although toughened versions are available with reduced temperature resistance.

Epoxy resins are a family of thermosets that offer a broad variety of performance characteristics. Epoxies are well known for their strength, toughness and their ability to be formulated to cure under a wide variety of time and temperature conditions. Epoxy prepregs are structural materials that are used in a wide variety of applications in the composites industry. In protective applications they can provide structural support to strengthen and stiffen soft armor structures as well as to reinforce ceramic plates to provide multi-hit resistance to armor piercing rounds.

Barrday BarrFlexTM U471 consists of two plies of unidirectional product, cross-plied in 0°/90° configuration. Each layer is individually constructed within a resin matrix. The resin matrix retains stability at elevated temperatures while the product maintains structural integrity after ballistic event. Material performance is dependent on product orientation. U611 is an advanced para-aramid unidirectional material for softarmor ballistic applications. U611 consists of four plies of unidirectional product, cross-plied in 0°/90°/0°/90° configuration. Our proprietary UD technology aligns the fibers in each layer in a parallel direction. Each layer is individually constructed within a resin matrix. Thermoplastic film is laminated to the top and bottom surfaces for abrasion resistance.

LC296 provides extremely low OSU heat release combined with low smoke, self extinguishing, and excellent self adhesive properties and surface finish. EPM503-1 is a toughened, low heat release epoxy prepreg system designed for a variety of aircraft interior applications. EPM503-1 provides the low OSU heat release typically attributed to phenolic systems combined with the mechanical properties of an epoxy system. EPM503-1 is self-adhesive to honeycomb and has excellent surface finish. EPM503-1 is currently offered as a press grade system. PVB Phenolic resins are a family of thermoset resins that display outstanding structural rigidity, toughness, and adhesive strength. They are used primarily in ballistic helmet and vehicle applications once impregnated into high performance aramid fabrics. These fabrics offer exceptional ballistic performance in vehicle spall liner applications and versus fragmentation threats, as well as excellent structural and thermal properties. Standard configurations conform to MIL-DTL-62474 aramid fabric reinforced laminates for composite armor.

EPM502 is a 250⁰F (121oC) curing toughened epoxy prepreg system that is designed for structural applications in aircraft interiors and other markets. This system is self-extinguishing and easily meets the requirements for both the 12 second and 60 second Vertical Ignition Tests listed in FAR 25-853. TU1100 is a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) fiber-reinforced uni-directional tape that processes is in the 350-400oF (175-200oC) temperature range. The prepreg is designed for oil & gas composite pipe and down-hole applications. PVDF is a semi-crystalline polymer with a good combination of strength, toughness, chemical and solvent resistance.

PSR133 is a high performance phenolic resin available in neat resin and prepreg form. Prepregs manufactured with PSR 133 meet the stringent requirements of MIL-R-9299C, Grade B. PSR133 is the most cost effective phenolic available and offers excellent char yield for carbon/carbon applications and does not exhibit micro-cracking in high modulus composite structures.
