Ketjenflex

PTSC stands for para toluene sulfonylchloride also named tosylchloride or abbreviated TsCl. It serves as intermediate in pharmaceutics and in various chemical synthesis.

KETJENFLEX® CP is para toluene sulfonic acid, used as a catalyst in many chemical processes.

Ketjenflex® CP

Ketjenflex® 2 is a toluene sulfonamide based reactive plasticizer used in Melamine molding compounds and a brightener in metal plating formulas. Ketjenflex® 2 is a basic starting material in the preparation of melamine formaldehyde molding compounds. Reacted into the resin backbone KETJENFLEX® 2 imparts long term impact resistance and toughness. Ketjenflex® 2 can also be used in other thermoset resins like epoxy and polyurethane based polymers resins.
