Castorlatum Castor Oil is a versatile ointment base and valuable addition to emulsions. Its uses are numerous in the realm of anhydrous formulations and can be as varied as lip treatments, color cosmetics, hair pomades, moisturizers, and as an excipient for the delivery of oil-soluble cosmeceutical or drug actives.

Castorlatum™ Emollient

A unique portfolio of specialty alcohols, including iso-, branched, guerbet and unsaturated materials. These alcohols, provide a wide range of melt points and reactivity to help solve formulating challenges in all types of Industrial and Care applications.

JARCOL

Citroflex™ A-2 is recommended for use with cellulosic derivatives. It offers low warping characteristics with cellulose acetate. Citroflex™ A-2 has been accepted for use as a plasticizer in food wrap films by the US Food &amp; Drug Administration.

Aminosyl™ line of surfactants and moisturizing ingredients are all natural and sulfate free. They offer a gentle and highly effective cleansing and deep hydration, while providing high, stable foam production.

Jarplex™ includes the highest quality and broadest selection of Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) and Shea Butter derivative products for all your application needs. Shea butter is an excellent emollient for personal care applications. Its unique combination of triglycerides and minor lipid components makes it an ideal choice for functional cosmetic products. Its rich content of bio-active triterpene esters, such as lupeol and amyrin cinnamates, provides beneficial effects including anti-irritancy, anti-inflammatory, and enhanced UV-B protection.

Jarplex™ Shea Butter 

ZeMac™ E400 Copolymer is an alternating copolymer of ethylene and maleic anhydride with very high molecular weight; Mw of 300,000. The product is 100% water soluble and can be reacted with alkalis, alcohols and amines to form corresponding salts, esters and amides.

PVPs are physiologically inert molecules that can act as dye-receptive resins, film formers, adhesives, complexing agents, binders and stabilizers, and protective colloid and suspending agents. Jarpol™ PVPs increase the wetting and lubricating effect in vanishing creams, sun proof creams, and depilation agents and provide excellent dispersivity. They are soluble in most organic solvents and are compatible with many modifiers and plasticizers.

Jarchem's Sucranov™ line of surfactants are sugar-based and non-ionic. They offer gently and highly effective cleansing, and deep hydration, while providing high, stable foam production.

Casmate™ DCA is a dry porosity ester. It provides more of a matte appearance without tacky build-up and has excellent co-solvent properties. It is a general-purpose emollient where prolonged playtime is desired.

Biopure™ GLDA is a powerful chelating agent made from natural, biodegradable, renewable raw materials. It exhibits excellent metal chelation properties, high water solubility and can be used over a wide pH range.

Sucranov™ 2000UP (Decyl Glucoside) is a mild non-ionic surfactant offering natural, gentle cleansing for shampoos, body washes and liquid soaps. It is ideal for a wide variety of person care applications. It is a natural sugar derived surfactant.

Acetyl Glucosamine has been shown to stimulate production of Hyaluronic Acid in skin, improving skin hydration and reducing appearance of wrinkles. It is also effective in anti-hyperpigmentation treatments.

Actique™ NAG

AminosylTM L30 is a mild, low irritation, anionic surfactant that offers superior foaming characteristics and a smooth skin feel. It is all natural, sulfate-free, and compatible with anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants.This product contains no more than 1.5% sodium laurate, limiting its propensity for defoaming and smearing. AminosylTM L30 is also biodegradable in liquid makeup applications and does not affect the transparency of solutions or lead to chemical reactions. In baby products, it provides synergy with other detergents.

Jarplex™ SB-EE is a natural shea butter ethyl ester derived from raw materials of vegetable origin. This product exhibits an excellent odor profile, has very low viscosity and is a great spreading agent.

FreshStat™ (Cetylpyridinium Chloride in Propylene Glycol) is a CPC-based colorless, odorless liquid providing great formulation versatility due to its effectiveness across a broad pH range (between 4-10). FreshStat™ can be used both, as a preservative and deodorizing agent that is safe and efficacious at very low concentrations against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and fungi in leave on and rinse off formulations. CPC is approved as a cosmetics preservative in Japan.  Also the European Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) finalized a favorable safety opinion for CPC in cosmetics.

FreshStat™ (Cetylpyridinium Chloride in Propylene Glycol)

Actique™ Pearl is a peptide derived from conchiolin protein (“Pearl Protein”) and extracted through enzymolysis.  The peptide is then separated using advanced bio-engineering technology. This peptide has outstanding anti-melanogenesis properties. When skin is irradiated by ultra violet rays (UVB), the keratin cells release endothelin. The signal from the endothelin is then accepted by the membrane receptor of the melanocyte. This triggers the activity of tyrosinase and causes rapid melanin production. Since Actique™ Pearl is a very powerful anti-endothelin antagonist, it can help regulate the signals sent to the melanocyte receptors and inhibit melanin production.

Jarcol™ H2280 is a fatty alcohol used as an emollient, co-emulsifier / stabilizer and thickening agent. It is an oily component for cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations such as W/O creams, sun tan oils and skin oils. This product is also a dispersing agent for color pigments, superfatting agent for washing lotions, foam baths, and alcohol-containing preparations, and as a raw material for biodegradable surfactants.
