The Peach Tree

The peach tree belongs to the Rosaceae family, Prunus genus. It is a small tree, which produces a fruit known for its pleasant, sugary and slightly acidic flavor. The plant is originally to China from where was taken thousands of years ago, spreading over Asia and Europe through ancient trade routes. The peach tree prefers sunny and airy soils and can be successfully cultivated in temperate regions, in different parts of the world.

Peach is a fruit rich in moisturizing mucilages, vitamins, sugars and minerals. FRULIX PÊSSEGO (PEACH) possess moisturizing, nutrient and protective properties and is recommended for haircare products, especially in formulas to soften and hydrate dry hair. For skincare, the properties of peach indicate FRULIX PÊSSEGO (PEACH) in products with nourishing and moisturizing appeal.

As a more concentrated product, FRULIX PÊSSEGO (PEACH) should be used in smaller concentrations than those normally used when making formulas with conventional extracts.

FRULIX PÊSSEGO (PEACH) is compatible with the majority of ingredients used in cosmetic formulations for the treatment of skin and hair, and may be incorporated cold, directly into the aqueous phase of the formulas, in accordance with the suggestions for concentration found in the table below. lt is stable at temperatures of up to 90 °C, in pH conditions from 4.00 to 11.00.
