Dr. Lee Gengli Yu is the founder and CEO of the company. After receiving his PhD in organic synthesis from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999, Dr. Yu worked as a research scientist rotating in universities and institutes around the USA. While leading projects at Tufts University, he developed advanced technologies in peptide synthesis, especially optimized liquid-phase technology for large-scale peptide production.
Inspired by Dr. Loren Pickart’s discovery of GHK-Cu, Dr. Yu decided to establish Active Peptide Company in 2012 with the mission to provide the best value of products to cosmetic companies, distributors, and researchers with high purity peptides.
