Ebalta MG 707 / Z 400 is a 2-components polyurethane material, which is cured thermically and used for prototypes. The four mentioned formulations differ in being filled or non-filled and their mechanical properties. The B-components Z 400 (potlife 8-12 min.) and Z 460 (potlife 60-70 min.) are identical and can be mixed with each other to control the reactivity, e.g. potlife. These combinations of Z 400 and Z 460 comp. B can be made any way as long as the totally required quantity of comp. B is observed (for each system). The total amount of Z 400 and Z 460 always has to be 30 g for 100 g comp. A

Ebalta AH 140 / LI 130-2 is a general purpose resin.

ebalta MG 425 is processed on a two-component low pressure device. The systems MG 400 / MG 425 / MG 475 are cured with the hardener PUR 19. By mixing MG 425 with MG 400 the E-modulus can variably between 630 – 1550 MPa. After grinding with a sand paper , grit 280, the surface can be varnished with a commercial lacquer. For better adhesion we recommend the use of a primer coat. Nitrocellulose lacquers have a better adhesion on polyurethane surfaces than on acryllacquer- systems. Ebalta LH 22 / GL is an epoxy laminating resin, which, depending on its application, can be used with the slow GL hardener or the faster GR hardener. They distinguish by minimal physiolgical effects. Regarding dimensional accuracy and –stability, laminates made of ebalta LH 22, even come up to great demands. Due to its long potlife ebalta LH 22/GL is especially suitable for large-area and thick laminates, which also with a thickness of more than 10 mm, applied in one step, cure without any shrinkage at room temperature.

ebalta AH 120/TC 60 is a very thin liquid epoxy resin with high values of strength and dimensional stability. Due to its good impregnating and wetting properties it is suitable as laminating resin for high-strength components with fabrics of glass –or carbon fiber. ebalta AH 120/TC 60 is suitable for laminating of thin as well as thick laminates with large surface up to a thickness of 8 mm. A post-curing should be executed, if possible before demoulding.

ebalta 120/GL is a very low-viscous two-component epoxy resin with high strength values and fast curing. Due to its good soaking and wetting characteristics, this resin/hardener mixture is most suitable for solid parts with fabrics made of glass or carbon fibers. AH 120/GL is suitable as laminating resin for both large area- and thick laminates. Due to its almost odorless and skin-friendly GL hardener it is most suitable as laminating resin. With a mixing ratio of 100:40 you reach an about 15°C higher TG, slightly stiffer laminates as well as better impact resistance. The laminate thickness should not exceed 6-7 mm.

Ares P130 is versatile medium reactivity DCPD resin for all sectors. Low styrene content and excellent dimensional stability. Good mechanical characteristics and excellent compatibility with glass fibers. Also ideal for spray up use.

ebalta AH 140 is a very thin liquid two-component-epoxy resin with high values of strength and high heat resistance. Due to its very good impregnating and wetting properties it is suitable as laminating resin for high-strength components with fabrics of glass –or carbon fiber. Especially for thin laminates, a post-curing of 16 hours at 80°C, after curing at room temperature, is essential in order to guarantee a complete curing. Otherwise the non post-cured laminate will be brittle and the adhesion of the layers with each other will not be sufficient.

Ares P805 is DCPD resin with high reactivity. Low styrene content, and excellent dimensional stability. Excellent mechanical characteristics and wettability of the fillers. Ideal for fast processing cycles.

Fudow Company F5980F is inorganic filler.

Ares P100 is orthophthalic resin with good reactivity, good elongation, versatile for all sectors. Good mechanical characteristics, compatibility with glass fibers and good wettability of the fillers. Clear resin ideal for spray up.

ebalta MG 321 FR is processed on a two-component low pressure device. After grinding with a sand paper , grit 280, the surface can be varnished with a commercial lacquer. For better adhesion we recommend the use of a primer coat. Nitrocellulose lacquers have a better adhesion on polyurethane surfaces than on acryllacquer- systems. As release agent you can use our T 03-01. MG 321 FR beige fire behavior according to UL 94, 3 mm thickness V0 With MG 883 the potlife of MG 321 FR beige can be set up to 120 secs. Ebalta AH 120 / TGS is heat resistant laminating resin.

Ebalta AH 150 / IP 25 is a very low-viscosity two-component epoxy resin with high strength and high dimensional stability. Due to its good soaking and wetting properties the resin/hardener mixture is suitable for infusion and laminating of solid parts with glass or carbon fibers. The hardeners IP 25, IP 55 as well as IP 430 can be mixed with each other thus reaching pot life between 10 min. and 430 min. Please ask for our mixing table IP 25/IP 430. ebalta AH 150/IP 25 is suitable for infusions with a flow distance up to approx. 450 mm as well as for laminating thin and largearea laminates up to 3 mm thickness.

Ares P106 is orthophthalic resin with medium-low reactivity and good elongation. Peak controlled. The wettability of the fillers is excellent.

Mechnical properties basing on test pieces being postcured for 8 hrs. at 80°C Demoulding depending on layer thickness, geometry and room temperature. Check for individual case. Postcuring before demoulding of laminates, if possible.
