VINNAPAS® EN 1020 is a self-crosslinking, aqueous polymer dispersion based on the monomers vinyl acetate and ethylene. This product is manufactured without the use of plasticizers. VINNAPAS® EN 1020 is specifically designed to serve as a binder for soft hydrophilic nonwovens. The binder can be applied using spray, impregnation, or foam methods. When used, VINNAPAS® EN 1020 provides good wet strength to the nonwoven material while maintaining a low level of free formaldehyde content.
