Vinkocide® CMIB-WK is a formulation containing a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT/MIT) with Bronopol. This solution, with an increased level of Bronopol, effectively penetrates microorganism cells, preventing microbial adaptation by inactivating vital substrates and enzymes. It offers a rapid mode of action and demonstrates a broad antimicrobial spectrum, particularly effective against Pseudomonas species. Free of VOCs and organic solvents, it's suitable for use in aqueous systems. With excellent long-term efficacy and compliance with various ecolabels like "Blue Angel" or "European Flower," it's recommended for storage preservation, liquid-cooling systems, and slimicide applications. However, compatibility testing is recommended, especially for formulations with high pH (> 9) or containing certain sulfur-containing compounds.

With a formaldehyde releaser, Vinkocide® CMIF 35 provides headspace protection in all types of in-can preservation. Compatibility testing is recommended for formulations with pH > 9 or containing certain sulfur-containing compounds. (Ethylenedioxy)dimethanol is incompatible with strong acids and oxidizing agents. This product is suitable for aqueous and water-miscible systems, offering a broad antimicrobial spectrum against bacteria, fungi, and yeasts. It is particularly effective against Gram-negative bacteria and is cost-effective due to low usage levels.
