Jarplex™ SB-WD (Water Dispersible Shea) is composed of the glycerides of vegetable fat extracted from the fruit of the Shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii). It contains a relatively high amount of unsaponifiable matter and is processed to have extremely low odor and light color. Jarplex™ SB-WD is completely water-dispersible in aqueous-based formulations, as well as compatible with surfactant-based systems. Due to its superior water dispersion properties, this product is an effective emulsifier for all kinds of natural vegetable oils. Jarplex™ SB-WD produces unique “rapid absorbing” sensations in creams and lotions with a soothing non-greasy feel. This product is non-toxic, non-irritating, cold processable and readily biodegradable. Great for use in bar soap and washes.

Jarplex™ SB-EE is a natural shea butter ethyl ester derived from raw materials of vegetable origin. This product exhibits an excellent odor profile, has very low viscosity and is a great spreading agent.

Mosselman Castor Oil Hydrogenated (8001-78-3) is a white, odorless fat obtained by the hydrogenation of castor oil. It has very good compatibility with natural waxes. It is mostly used in the manufacture of calcium and lithium lubricating greases. These lubricating greases exhibit excellent resistance to oils and fats, water and solvents. It is also used as raw materi-al for solvent based coating systems, for alkyd resins and as processing aid for phenolic resins, poly-ethylene, PVC and rubber and as an additive in powder coatings. It is also of importance concerning the production of hot melts like paper additives. Finally it can be used as an ingredient in polishes (for cars, shoes, furniture) and in cosmetics (for creams, lipsticks,…).

Organic FFL Illipe Butter Crude is made from the wild gathered nuts of the endangered Shorea stenoptera tree in Borneo, Indonesia. After local communities wash and sun dry the nuts they are cold pressed and filtered in our factory. This product is certified by Ecocert according to the Fair for Life and organic (NOP and EOS) standards. Illipe Butter provides moisturizing and emollient properties and structure to body creams, lip products and many other formulation types.

Assists in ease of manufacture (no homogenization is required). Also, an ideal emollient for skin – body -care. In sun-care it imparts water resistance.

The Cosm'Oil SFWD (Helianthus Annuus Seed Cera) is a high melting point sunflower crystalline wax (Helianthus annuus seed oil) organic certified.

Ozokerite Wax will increase viscosity, assist in emulsion stability and enhance gel strength in liquid and solid systems. Generally a hard wax with a relatively high melt point, these characteristics warrant its use in lipsticks, lip care products, and others to promote structure and stick strength. Each Ozokerite Wax has specific gelling capacity; please be sure to speak to your S&P sales representative to select the most appropriate code for your formulation.

Ceresine Waxes are generally lower melt point blends compared to Ozokerite Waxes. As such, Ceresine Waxes don't offer the same strong gel capability as higher melt point Ozokerite Waxes.

Laurel Wax Obtained from the fruit of the Myrica pubescens and commonly known as Laurel Wax. Recommended in creams, lotions, and stick formulations where a soft, smooth skin after-feel is desired. In formulation Laurel Wax exhibits a glossy, creamy, and textured appearance, with a luxurious feel.

Mosselman Shea Butter Refined (91080-23-8) is the fat obtained from the kernels of the African plant “Butyrospermum parki” and is much more unsaturated than cocoa butter and is correspondingly softer and less brittle. Shea butter has a characteristically high content of unsaponifiables and the iodine and saponification number depend on the amount of unsaponifiable matter present. Sheabutter is mainly used in cosmetics. It is an excellent emollient both for skin and hair.

Mosselman Lanolin (8006-54-0) or wool grease is a yellow unctuous grease obtained by pu- rifying crude wool grease. It is more closely related to waxes than to fats because it contains a major portion of esters of fatty acids. Lanolin is used as an ointment base, as a superfatting agent for toilet soaps and in cosmetic creams.
