Toray Toray MicroPly™ EM-3 is a 121°C (250°F) curing expanding epoxy film based on low density syntactic film technology. It is an effective material in generating internal pressure in closed mold Applicationss and honeycomb filling, splicing, and stabilization. Toray MicroPly™ EM-3 is available in film form from 30–91 cm (12–36”) wide with standard thicknesses from 0.0635 cm to 1.27 mm (0.025“ to 0.050”). Toray Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 is a cyanate ester based syntactic film developed to be compatible with various cyanate ester matrices, including Toray RS-3. Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 is available in unsupported and supported continuous film form in thicknesses from 0.25–6.35 mm (10–250 mils). Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 has been evaluated and qualified in aerospace and dielectric structures. 177°C (350°F) Cure Cyanate Ester Syntactic Film. Film to 127 cm (50”) wide.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ SF-4 is a BMI syntactic film that provides excellent elevated temperature properties and compatible to Toray RS-8HT. Toray MicroPly™ SF-4 is available in unsupported or supported continuous film form in various thicknesses from 0.25–2.5 mm (10 mils– 100 mils). Toray MicroPly™ SF-4 has been evaluated and qualified in aerospace structures. 204°C (400°F) Cure BMI Syntactic Film. Film to 127 cm (50”) wide.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ EM-5A is a 177°C (350°F) cure expanding cyanate ester syntactic film (core splice). Its unexpanded density is approximately 50 pcf (0.80 g/cc) and exhibits an expansion ratio of up to 4x. It is available in continuous film rolls or in sheet form from thicknesses of 10–125 mils (0.25–3.18 mm). Standard widths are 61 cm (24”), but alternative widths up to 127 cm (50”) are available upon request. 177°C (350°F) Cure Cyanate Ester Syntactic Core Splice Film.
