ROHACELL® SL foam cores exhibit exceptional mechanical strength, particularly under tensile loads, and high tenacity. Toray E720 is a 120°C (248°F) cure toughened epoxy prepreg. E720 offers excellent adhesive properties, allowing direct lamination to honeycomb without the use of a film adhesive. E720 is designed for structural Applicationss in motorsport and marine industries. E720 would also suit general aircraft fittings, sporting equipment, and a wide range of engineering Applicationss. Toray E720 is compatible for co-cure with Toray’s 120°C (248°F) cure resin film MicroPly™ EF72 and syntactic core Toray MicroPly™ SC72A. Toray 8020 is a new generation of toughened epoxy resin systems offering a balance of mechanical properties and excellent surface finish. Park’s E-765-3K-PW, -6K-5HS and 7781 materials are AGATE approved. FAA-approved, B-Basis design allowable databases for AGATE materials are available upon request. Park has also developed AGATE approved material and process specifications which are also available upon request.

Toray E650 is a low temperature curing toughened resin system pre-impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. It is designed for the production of composite structures in the leisure and sporting industries and also for a range of engineering Applicationss. Toray BT250E-6 resin system is a 121°C (250°F) cure epoxy prepreg with excellent strength and stiffness. It provides an outstanding surface finish under vacuum bag/oven cure. BT250E-6 has an FAA-conformed database on carbon IM-7 uni-directional tape, S2-glass, and AS-4C plain weave.

Toray Toray Microply™ TC235SF-1 is a composite surfacing film designed to provide paintable composite surfaces off of the tool. It may be cured under vacuum-only pressure or under low autoclave pressure. The surfacing properties of Toray MicroPly™ TC235SF-1 allow smooth, paintable surfaces, even with thin-skinned honeycomb-stiffened composite structure. Epoxy Surfacing System 121°C–177°F (250°F–350°F).

MTC275 is an epoxy resin system designed to give excellent clarity and surface finish out of autoclave. It is a toughened epoxy resin system designed for component manufacturing that can be supplied on a variety of fabrics and in UD format to meet your cost and manufacturing requirements.

Renegade Materials Corporation RM-3004 prepreg products offer an Out of Autoclave (OOA) option for processing BMI’s. This very unique chemistry can be processed into low-void, high quality, thick laminates with only a vacuum bag in the oven. Yet it still delivers excellent hot/wet performance and durability in airframe, missile and propulsion applications at service temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). RM-3004 (OOA) BMI delivers comparable damage tolerance at high temperatures to industry-standard Autoclave Processed BMI’s. Although developed for structural applications, RM-3004 also offers some unique advantages for tooling. Renegade precision-quality prepregs exhibit excellent handling characteristics and are available in woven and unidirectional form on various fibers including carbon, quartz and S2 glass. A wide variety of nano-materials can be incorporated into this resin system for tailored laminate properties and multi-functional performance. Renegade has formulated compatible BMI Paste Adhesive products (RM-3006, RM-3007) for use with RM-3004 prepregs. Renegade also offers BMI resin systems for RTM (RM-3000) or VARTM (RM-3010) infusion processing.

Toray Toray CFRT® PW-1000 is a reinforced thermoplastic composite laminate. It blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer matrix with woven carbon and glass fibers in a plain weave for enhanced performance. The PW-1000 style laminate is available in a single-layer product; carbon in one direction and glass fibers at a 90° orientation to the carbon. This product is ultra-thin, lightweight, and resilient for improved energy return.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 is a cyanate ester based syntactic film developed to be compatible with various cyanate ester matrices, including Toray RS-3. Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 is available in unsupported and supported continuous film form in thicknesses from 0.25–6.35 mm (10–250 mils). Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 has been evaluated and qualified in aerospace and dielectric structures. 177°C (350°F) Cure Cyanate Ester Syntactic Film. Film to 127 cm (50”) wide.

Toray C640 is a cyanate ester resin system suitable for curing between 70°C (158°F) and 135°C (275°F). The medium viscosity resin is pre-impregnated into high-performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. The system is capable of withstanding very high temperatures and is inherently flame-retardant. After a suitable post cure, the glass transition temperature can be increased to as high as 335°C (635°F).

Toray TC890 high temperature polyimide prepreg system utilizes PROOF Research Advanced Composites Division 900HT resin system. TC890 is a high temperature, polyimide-based thermoset prepreg with outstanding dry property retention at 343°C (650°F), wet service property retention at 288°C (550°F), and short-term and intermittent service temperature capability to 427°C (800°F). TC890 has been successfully demonstrated in short term, transient heating Applicationss to temperatures as high as 1300°F. TC890 is an excellent non-MDA replacement for high temperature PMR-15 Applicationss. TC890 prepreg system is easily processable and thermally stable, exhibiting the highest glass transition temperature of commercially available structural matrices. TC275-1E is an extended out time version of the TC275-1 resin system. TC275-1E is a flexible cure toughened epoxy prepreg designed to enable composite part construction with low pressure or vacuum bag only (VBO) cures. The resin system provides a 28-day total out time to facilitate construction of thick or larger composite structures. Toray C740 is a cyanate ester resin system for cures at 135°C (275°F), pre-impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. The system is capable of withstanding very high temperatures and is inherently flame-retardant. After a suitable post cure the glass transition temperature can be increased to as high as 325°C (617°F).

G-TEX M SM45 is Nonwoven fabric made from recycled carbon fiber. SM45 denotes Fiber type; it signifies Standard modulus with strength between 4-5 GPa.

Shanghai Sunwise Chemical VTC212 (DF212) is a toughened epoxy prepreg system designed for out of autoclave cure allowing flexibility in component manufacture. This resin system color is gray.

Park’s E-752-LT is a toughened; 350°F (177°C) cure epoxy resin system with 315°F (157°C) wet Tg for primary and secondary structural applications. E-752-LT is formulated for efficient processing in high volume Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) applications manufacturing. The resin system offers a combination of toughness, low moisture uptake and good mechanical properties. E-752-LT is formulated to laminate In Autoclave (AC), Out of Autoclave (OOA) and Press cure conditions.

Toray Toray CFRT® XTS 3L and 4L are reinforced thermoplastic composite laminates. They blend the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer matrix with uni-directional glass fibers for enhanced performance. The XTS style laminate is offered in 3-layer (0°/90°/0°Fiber orientations) and 4-layer (0°/90°/90°/0°Fiber orientations) construction that is ultrathin, lightweight, and resilient for improved energy return.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ SC72A is a 120°C (248°F) curing low-density unsupported epoxy syntactic core. Toray MicroPly™ SC72A offers reduced processing, a one-shot cure, the ability to anchor inserts or fastenings, and increases the opportunity to consider lightweight, thin-walled composite sandwich structures. Considerable cost reductions can be realized when SC72A replaces prepreg as the core material, and where sandwich cores below 3 mm are difficult to achieve in honeycomb core, Toray MicroPly™ is a superior alternative. Toray MicroPly™ SC72A is available in a variety of thicknesses down to 1 mm and is easily contoured and shaped. SC72A is supplied on a roll (15 m x 400 mm) or in sheets (625 mm x 400 mm). Toray MicroPly™ SC72A is compatible for co-cure with Toray E720 and E722 mid temperature curing prepregs.

Toray RS-36 is an advanced modified epoxy system for structural composite Applicationss. RS-36 offers an excellent balance of mechanical properties, low moisture absorption, high glass transition temperatures, and a range of processing options. Toray Toray MicroPly™ ES72A-2 is a 125°C (257°F) curing low-density, expanding, unsupported, epoxy syntactic core. ES72A-2 offers reduced processing, a one-shot cure, the ability to anchor inserts or fastenings, and increases the opportunity to consider lightweight, thin-walled composite sandwich structures. ES72A-2 can be easily contoured and shaped. Toray MicroPly™ ES72A-2 expands using a closed cell process ensuring complete homogeneous cell structure, the density/strength may be altered simply by changing cure pressure or limiting the volume available for expansion, the material is capable of expanding up to 650%. Toray MicroPly™ ES72A-2, formerly Amspand, is available in a variety of thicknesses down to 1 mm, and is supplied in sheets (625 mm x 400 mm).

Toray TC420 is a flow-controlled high temperature cyanate ester resin, toughened to resist microcracking. TC420 is specifically formulated to facilitate production of large out-of-autoclave structures. It can act as a self-adhesive system and is resistant to microcracking. This resin represents a new family of next generation high temperature resins, film adhesives, syntactic paste and expanding foams for ultra-high temperature conditions. TC420 is easy to process, and yields low void laminates with a flexible cure cycle under vacuum-only pressure. This system is also autoclave processable. TC420 is an attractive alternative to bismaleimide (BMI) and polyimide resins.

Shanghai Sunwise Chemical OPS75 material is designed to give a high class finish with reduced pre-paint preparation and versatile out of autoclave curing. It can be supplied with carbon or glass fabric reinforcement. This resin system color is black. The standard system comprises of 1 layer of OPS75 surface ply and 1 layer of PSB75 bulk ply.
