Polymer Curing Agent A is a colorless, mobile liquid, consisting of peroxides based on methyl ethyl ketone, desensitized with phthalate plasticiser. This ketone peroxide is used mainly as an initiator (radical source) in the curing of unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins.

Polymer Curing Agent B is a clear solution of acetyl acetone peroxide (AAP), or 2,4- Pentanedione peroxide in a phlegmatizer. Polymer Curing Agent B is a very effective polymerization initiator for the room temperature cure of unsaturated polyester resins and gives exceptionally fast cures without significantly affecting gel times in most resin systems. Polymer Curing Agent B has the added advantage of being a low fire or explosion hazard.
