Plenco® 08218 is an 18% glass-filled polyester bulk molding compound characterized as an electrical grade, but has many outstanding properties that make it suitable for a broad range of applications because of its excellent electrical resistance and mechanical strength. Customers have found this material useful for commercial/industrial heavy duty electrical parts, enclosures for power distribution equipment, fuse holders, circuit breaker cases, electric motor housings and components. Plenco® 06553 is a mineral and glass fiber reinforced two-stage phenolic molding compound, formulated for dimensional stability, good chemical resistance to brake fluids, such as DOT 3 and 4, and should provide grinding to close tolerances. 06553 is UL recognized under component file E40654. 06553 is available in black. 06553 was qualified under military specification MIL-M 14 (superseded by ASTM D-5948) TYPE MFH and batches can, if requested and paid for, be tested for certification to the standard.

Plenco® 08122 is a general purpose polyester bulk molding compound that is characterized by adding utility to a number of applications. Because of its combination of high heat resistance, good electrical properties, flame resistance and strength. Customers have found this material useful in such applications as iron skirts and other small appliance housings, coil bobbins, and electric motor components such as brush holders.
