Mosselman Amide ODV (93-83-4) is an oleic diethanolamide obtained by reaction of oleic acid with an excess of diethanolamine. This amide finds use in a variety of industrial cleaners where it acts as a viscosity builder, for foam boosting and foam stabilizing, as dispersing agent, emulsifier and corrosion inhibitor. Amide ODV improves the detergency of other surfactants.

Mosselman Superamide KD (68155-06-6) are made by reacting diethanolamine with coconut fatty acid esters and removal of the alcohol byproduct which drives the reaction to completion. These ester derived diethanolamides are less soluble in water and may be liquid to solid. Superamides are used when a suds building material with good color is desired.

Mosselman Amide KDO (68155-07-7, 8051-30-7, 68603-42-9) is a coconut diethanolamide obtained by the reac-tion of coconut oil with diethanolamine.

DENCELL-CMC HV is used in drilling applications due to its productivity improving characteristics such as film making and water absorbition. It is a good viscosity stabilizer and water absorber for drilling mud. DENCELL-CMC HV keeps the mud as homogeneous to stabilize the mud viscosity and avoid excessive fluid loss during drilling. Mosselman Amide KDK is derived from a 2 : 1 molar reaction of diethanolamine and coconut fatty acids. They contain approximately 70 % amide dissolved in unreacted dietahnolamine and fatty acid soap. The soap acts as an auxilary surfactant which contributes to water solubility and thickening properties. Amide KDK is an exellent detergent and emulsifier and shows good water solubility and exellent detergency.

ZeMac™ E400 is an alternating copolymer of ethylene and maleic anhydride with Mn of about 95,000 and Mw of 400,000 available in powder form. It has applications in glass sizing, in microencapsulation and as a viscosity modifier for water-based solutions.
