Mosselman Sorbitan Monolaurate (1338-39-2) are non-ionic emulsifiers obtained by the esterification of dehydrated sorbitol with fatty acids. These esters are mostly water in oil emulsifiers, but they can also act as oil in water emulsifiers when they are used in combination with the ethoxylated sorbitan esters. Sorbitan esters are used in cosmetics, lubricants, textiles etc.

Mosselman Pelargonic Acid (112-05-0) is a linear, saturated synthetic carboxylic acid with a chain length of 9 carbons. It is a clear liquid which is mostly used as a raw material for further esterification.

Mosselman Amide KDO (68155-07-7, 8051-30-7, 68603-42-9) is a coconut diethanolamide obtained by the reac-tion of coconut oil with diethanolamine.

Mosselman Sorbitan Monooleate 10 EO (9005-65-6) are obtained by the ethoxylation of sorbitan esters. They are more hydro-philic than the sorbtanesters itself and are used as non-ionic surfactants and solubilizers for water insoluble active products and essential oils. In combination with the non-ethoxylated sorbitanesters, they can be used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsion. Ethoxylated sorbitanesters find applications in cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, textile auxiliaries agrochemicals, etc.

Mosselman Palmitic Acid 98% (57-10-3) is a saturated fatty acid with a chain length of 16 carbons occuring in natural fats. This type contains more than 98% of palmitic acid. Palmitic acid is used in the manufacture of palmitates, lubricants, soaps, cosmetics etc.

Mosselman Tall Oil Fatty Acids N (61790-12-3) oil is a by-product in the production of wood pulp by the Kraft process. The “black liquor” which is obtained in the purification of the wood pulp which contains the sodium soap of the tall oil fatty acids and rosin acids. By acidification a mixture of fatty acids and rosin acids is obtained. By further distillation the fatty acids and the rosin acids are separated.

Mosselman Stearic Acid 1898 (57-11-4) is the most common saturated fatty acid occurring in natural fats. The commercial stearic acid contains palmitic and stearic acid. Stearic acid is used in the manufacture of stearates, lubricants, soaps, cosmetics etc. Further applications are in rubber compounds, coatings, food packaging and candles.

Mosselman Heliwet Alkyl Polyglucosides PG 225 (68515-73-1) are vegetable based non-ionic surfactants. They show excellent mildness, alkaline and electrolyte resistance as well as a good compatibility with anionic and amphoteric surfactants. They can act as degreasing agent, emulsifiers, solubilisers.

Mosselman Lanolin 75 EO (61790-81-6) is a polyoxyethylene condensate of lanolin with 75 moles of ethyleneoxide. It is a hard pale yellow wax with a faint fruitly odor. Lanolin 75 EO is particulary indicated for use in aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic lotions, mainly in shampoos, skin cleansing and after-shave lotions.

Mosselman Soybean Lecithin Liquid SB (8002-43-5) is the most important by-product of the edible oil processing industry. Lecithin is obtained from the oil by hydratation of the phosphatides by water, followed by recover by centrifuge and drying. Crude soyabean lecithin is the most principal source of crude lecithin. Soyalecithin is a complex mixture of phosphatides, phytoglycolipids, phytosterols, tocopherols, tri-glycerides and fatty acids.

Mosselman Sorbitan Monolaurate 20 EO - Food Polysorbate 20 (9005-64-5) is a bio-based emulsifying agent that is ideal for use in various industries such as chemical manufacturing, textiles manufacturing, water treatment, and more.
