It is suitable as a mold sealer and adhesion promoter for plastic and metal molds, including substrates made of polyester and vinyl ester (gelcoat and non-gelcoat processes), epoxy or phenolic resin, BMI, PU and most metals. Chemlease® MPP 2684W is an excellent sealer but cannot be used as a release agent. Using Chemlease® MPP 2684W without a suitable mold release agent may damage the mold.
