The good solubility characteristics make them especially useful for use in alkaline liquid formulations. It is excellent foaming agent. It shows a pronounced thickening with the addition of sodium chloride to a dilute solution. It is stable to hard water and has excellent lime soap dispersing properties, due to the calcium salt being soluble. Product is prone to hydrolysis in aqueous solution at acid pH and high temperatures (not suitable for use above 50°C).

Lansurf TH30W is a nonionic surfactant produced by the alkoxylation of ethylene oxide with tallow amine. This product has good compatibility with other nonionic, anionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants. Lansurf TH30W finds application in a variety of industries such as textiles, paints, metal working, agriculture and polish manufacture. In particular Lansurf TH30W is used in textile applications as a leveling agent and anti-precipitant and is used as a primary wetting agent in acid and alkaline formulations for metal cleaning and the stripping of surface coatings.

HYDRIOL® CLA is a PEG-free anionic surfactant with excellent foaming power. It improves the foam properties in height and quality. HYDRIOL® CLA is used for mild shampoos, foam bath products and liquid soaps. HYDRIOL® CLA is ideal for the use in baby shampoos and in natural cosmetics applications. It is recommended to use a small amount of sodium citrate or any other chelating agent to improve the performence in hard water. HYDRIOL® CLA shows excellent performance as cosurfactant in combination with Alkyl Polyglucosides.

Cola®Trope SC-45 is a high foaming, chlorine stable, caustic soluble surfactant and hydrotrope. Cola®Trope SC-45 is an aqueous solution of an anionic surfactant containing both sulfonate and carboxylate functionality. It is stable to hypochlorites, and soluble in caustic and electrolytic solutions. It also wets rapidly, and has excellent detergent properties. Cola®Trope SC-45 is used in applications in alkaline spray foam cleaners containing chlorine, and in other formulations where high foam and excellent detergency are required.

Cola®Teric is a coco-betaine made from a natural cocoamine source. It is functional in industrial and household formulations as well as personal care products. This product is soluble in both acid and alkaline pH. This biodegradable, high foamer is an excellent choice for formulating “green” products.
