Chemically classified as an alkoxylated carboxylate, it's intended solely for use in alkaline systems and not recommended for acid systems.

Naxsoft® 98S is a versatile, economical, and highly active linear acid that is biodegradable and can be used as a component in acidic products such as aluminum cleaners and liquid bowl cleaners. It can also be neutralized with a variety of inorganic bases or organic amines to customize the sulfonate for the end product. Naxonac® 965 is an anionic surfactant that can be used as an emulsifier in emulsion polymerization, pesticides, and cleaning formulations due to its stability at high temperatures, high alkalinity, and electrolyte systems. Additionally, its solubility in alkali systems makes it a great hydrotrope that can be used to couple nonionic surfactant systems that are not normally soluble while simultaneously increasing wetting and detergency properties.
