ULTRA-PLAST™ TP01 contains reactive sites which create hydrogen bonding and can therefore act as coupling agent between polymer and filler. It acts as an efficient blending and dispersing agent in highly filled plastics compounds, leading to a more homogeneous initial mix. At processing conditions, ULTRA-PLAST™ TPO1 is an effective lubricant for polyolefins like PVC, PS, ABS and several TPO systems. Applications recommended for ULTRA-PLAST™ TPO1 include highly filled TPE and TPO compounds, filled olefins, flame retarded systems and color concentrates. In addition, it can be used in unfilled elastomers where reduced viscosity and improved flow under processing conditions are desired. In many cases, better surface appearance and more uniform mold shrinkage can be observed.

OX-18 by Trecora Chemicals is used in powder coatings, can coatings, coil coatings and wood/furniture coatings.

ULTRA-PLAST™ TP07 works effectively as an internal/external lubricant in most plastics and WPC composites. It has high heat stability and shows no discolouration at temperature up to 2300 C. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP07 can be used with coupling agents in WPC applications.

In rubber compounds, ULTRA-PLAST™ ZnSt can be used as an internal lubricant. In plastic compounds, ULTRA-PLAST™ ZnSt is used as a stabilizer but it works also well as lubricant and improves the surface finish of molded parts.
