Major uses of it are as a reactive intermediate for high molecular weight flame retardants, particularly in combination with phosphorus. and as a reactive flame retardant for polyurethanes where its high solubi1ity in the system makes it especially useful. It reacts through its single hydroxyl function to form pendant urethane groups. Its high bromine content and good compatibility in CFC‐free PU systems enables high standards of fire retardancy to be reached together with good foam properties in both rigid and flexible PU.

APP‐203 is a product based on ammonium polyphosphate. The crystal modification is phase II. It is manufactured from APP‐201 by micro‐encapsulation with melamine resin according to own method. APP‐203 is a fine‐particle white powder with very low solubility in water, even at elevated temperatures. It is completely insoluble in organic solvents. The product is non‐hygroscopic and non‐flammable. It is completely insoluble in organic solvents. APP 203 is used in Plastic(PP,PE,PA,PVC,PBT),PU, Rubber ,Paint and coating.

MCA is a Melamine Cyanurate is a halogen‐free flame retardant for polyamide.Steadable color, good electrical property and environmentally friendly, Melamine Cyanurate has established itself as the flame retardant to achieve UL 94 V‐0 especially for polyamide 6 and 6,6. Addition of MCA gives PA6(66) good mechanical and electrical properties.
