YD-8125A is a yellow, medium-viscous liquid reactive polyamide resin produced by reacting dimerized fatty acid with polyamines. It can be dissolved in a wide range of solvents or blended with modified amine curing agents. Used as a binder and resin in coatings, adhesives, and plastics, YD-8125A offers corrosion resistance, excellent adhesion, good pigment wetting, improved substrate wetting, medium viscosity, and water resistance. It is commonly used in automotive, marine, floor coatings, infrastructure, roads and paving, and repair applications. Its versatility also extends to industrial and assembly adhesives, as well as solventless and high solids coatings, with processing methods including casting and encapsulation.
