VANSIL® W-50 Wollastonite is the finest of the low aspect ratio grades of VANSIL (6+ Hegman fineness). This grade is suitable for liquid industrial and corrosion resistant coatings, powder coatings and semi-gloss architectural coatings. In powder coatings, this grade is desirable for smoother films and improved gloss. The naturally high pH of wollastonite helps to buffer latex paints and coatings, which contributes to improved corrosion resistance and weathering. This also extends in-can stability and prolongs the lifetime of the coating.

VANSIL® WG Wollastonite is a high aspect ratio, long needle grade of wollastonite. It is used principally as a mineral filler and reinforcing agent to enhance mechanical strength properties in high build coatings, texture paint, and block fillers. In high film build coatings, the needle-like shape of VANSIL WG improves mud crack resistance and sag resistance, while also contributing to peak retention in texture coatings. The naturally high pH of wollastonite helps to buffer latex paints and coatings, which contributes to improved corrosion resistance and weathering. This also extends in-can stability and prolongs the lifetime of the coating. In calcium silicate board and fiber cement, VANSIL WG increases flexural and compressive strength, reduces shrinkage, and reduces cracking. It is recommended that high aspect ratio grades of VANSIL be added late in process to avoid possible damage to the needle structure from high shear mixing.

McNAMEE® Clay is a low cost air-floated kaolin reinforcer and inert filler. It is also used in crack fillers, caulking compounds, and elastomers.

BILT-PLATES® 156 Filler is a fine particle size (4 Hegman fineness) air-floated kaolin clay. It is used as a reinforcing filler in all types of coatings, adhesives, elastomers and latexes. It can be used as a TiO2 spacer in coatings that do not require a high brightness filler.

Hyperfine K is an ultra-fine particle-size grade that contains high brightness.

OceanCal™ 8U Oolitic Aragonite is one of the world's purest forms of the ocean's naturally precipitated biogenic calcium carbonate. Naturally renewable and sustainable. Highly bioavailable calcium. High surface area. High brightness. High microporosity. High chemical purity. Offered in a range of controlled particle sizes. Cimbar XF is a high purity, natural barium sulfate. Cimbar XF is recommended for use in coatings, especially automotive and industrial primes and topcoats. Additionally, Cimbar XF is often used in high gloss enamels, powder coatings and semi-gloss and gloss latices.Cimbar XF can be used as a filler in polyurethane foams, plastics and plastisols, friction materials, rubbers, adhesives and acoustical compounds and other insulating materials. Cimbar XF is easily dispersable and is often used to impart higher surface gloss, improved hide, improved mar resistance and impact resistance.Cimbar XF also offers excellent sanding resistance, and good scrub resistance to formulations.Cimbar XF is chemically inert and is an excellent choice as a filler in corrosion resistant applications, flame retardant applications, and applications that require excellent weather resistance. Moreover, Cimbar XF exhibits superior thermal stabilty up to 1580 °C. It is therefore recommended for use in heat resistant applications. Cimbar XF helps increase heat distortion temperatures, and reduces compound stickiness.
