Products in Coatings & Finishes: Phenols & Phenolics

PHENODUR® VPW 1942/52WA is used in paints and coatings, printing, packaging, and automotive and transportation industries. This product is designed specifically for coatings and finishes in automotive OEM and marine coatings, but it can also be used in industrial and metal coatings. PHENODUR® VPW 1942/52WA, which is compatible with metal surfaces, promotes a strong crosslinking process that improves coating performance. Because it is easier to apply when in liquid form, it is a good option for different coating formulas.

OMNISTAB® AN 1076 is a highly efficient sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant.

Astaply HL4645 offers thermosetting liquid resins, specially formulated for the manufacturing of interior grade plywood. In the cured state, the resin is a cross-linked, insoluble, infusible material.

Shandong Huijin Chemical HJT-31B epoxy resin curing agent is reacted from the phenolic resin modified ethylene diamine, according to customer's different requirements, we add different agent to our product, so that our products will be more suitable for domestic and abroad market.

FENOPOL 90 100 is a rosin modified phenolic resin.

Disvipol 271 is used in spar varnishes, marine enamels, chemical & weather resistant finishes. Tung oil adducts for offset printing, and wire enamels.

Lechler S65056 Vernice Classic Yacht U.V. is a 1 Component varnish formulated with phenolic baked resins and selected Tung oils. The addition of special U.V. filters protects wood from aging process due to ultraviolet rays. Thanks to its full body, to the film flexibility and to its resistance to the marine environment aggressiveness, it is recommended to use this products for finishing boat internal and external surfaces. Especially suitable for new or already painted wood, it is useable above the waterline (upper works).

Lechler S65070 Top Wood Varnish is a 1 Component varnish with high gloss and very good weather resistance. It is formulated with phenolic resins and Tung oils. This varnish has been enriched with special UV filters helping its resistance to the most severe climatic conditions. The high protection level and flexibility make it especially suitable for finishing boat internal and external surfaces. It is suitable for new or already painted wood and is useable above the waterline (upper works).

Heresite VR-514 air-dry phenolic coating is specially formulated to permit application by brush, spray or roller. Some of its outstanding properties are excellent durability, good adhesion, good film building characteristics and flexibility. When cured, VR-514 will produce a hard, corrosion resistant film, recommended as a heavy-duty coating for exposure to splash, spillage and fumes. Successful applications include: HVAC equipment, agricultural implements, chemical plants, canning factories, construction equipment, marine finishes, steel plants, sewage disposal plants, textile industry, underground and ventilating systems. VR-514 is a primer-finish combination material specially formulated for marine/salt water environments. When the finished product is going to be exposed to direct UV rays, a topcoat of Heresite UC-5500 series is recommended.

P-403L was developed to resist the corrosive effects of Sulfuric Acid and has also been successfully used in applications with pH <9.0. Heresite’s chemical resistance guide lists over 700 chemical immersion and fume environments that the P-403L will resist.

Disvipol 203 is used in anticorrosive paints, marine finishes, fillers, sealants & primers, insulating varnishes and oil varnishes.

POLYTONE™ P 140 is a modified phenolic resin for use with drying oil, such as linseed & tung oil.
