Sodium bisulfite takes on a wide range of functions as a chemical base and is permitted as a food additive according to Food Grade (E 222). TIB® Thio NBS fulfills all analytical requirements stipulated by the Food Additives Ordinance, but is not authorized in accordance with GMP requirements (FDA Title: Food and Drugs, cGMP Part 110) and "BRC Global Standard Food" (classification A).
