TEDUR® L 9409-3.2

MOCOM Compounds TEDUR® L 9409-3.2 is a Polyphenylene Sulfide base polymer containing 30% carbon fibers and 15% PTFE filler/additive system. It has reduced surface resistivity, is electrically conductive, and improved sliding/wear characteristics. It is used in the automotive, machinery, electrical and electronic market segment for functional components, housings, bearings and sliding elements. Pre-drying conditions require a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 130-140°C for 2-4 hours, depending on moisture content. Processing injection molding requires a melt temperature of 320-340°C and a mold temperature greater than 140°C, with appropriate cooling times.
