"The Hofgut Storzeln is deeply rooted in the Hegau on Lake Constance. The Hofgut Storzeln has a long and eventful history - today we operate an organic farm and offer products with raw materials from our own cultivation. The Hofgut Storzeln, which was first mentioned in documents more than 600 years ago, is located near Lake Constance. After a long, eventful history, which ended with the almost complete splitting up and dissolution of the once proud estate, the married couple Dirk and Martina Emrich began in 2007 to acquire all the land and buildings belonging to the former estate from the individual owners. In 2010 the farm was reunited as a whole and has been family-owned ever since. In the meantime, the sons and a son-in-law have taken on their own areas of responsibility in the family business. The lactose intolerance of Mr. Emrich and his children was the reason to look for tasty milk alternatives. Due to the mild climate in the Lake Constance region, the idea of ​​regional soy cultivation on the company's own land was quickly born."
