AROSURF® PA 935 is a hydrophilic polyether siloxane emulsion with a high molecular weight. It is designed to provide special surface lubrication effects on facial and bathroom tissue during converting. AROSURF® PA 935 is recommended as a formulation aid for converting lotions. This non-ionic, non-substantive siloxane surfactant dilution is based on synthetic raw materials and does not contain any flammable solvents. It achieves a unique silicone surface feel on tissue without affecting the sheet's tensile strength. AROSURF® PA 935 is suitable for tissue made of virgin and/or recycled fibers and enhances the tissue's water absorbency properties due to its high hydrophilicity. It is compatible with other chemicals and can be easily diluted to form lower viscosity emulsions using demineralized water while avoiding the presence of electrolytes and water hardness.

SIPERNAT® 50 S is a hydrophilic, finely milled silica. Besides its application as flow aid and highly effective anticaking agent it also may serve as carrier of especially high absorptive capacity in case particle fineness is required.

AEROSIL® 200 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200 m²/g.

TEGO® SML 20 is a liquid emulsifier that is non-ionic and made of polyoxyethylene-(20)-sorbitan monolaurate. It is used as a solubilizer for oils and dyestuffs, as well as a defoamer and antistatic agent in textile formulations. TEGO® SML 20 is compatible with anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants due to its non-ionic nature. It is also biodegradable and has good environmental behavior. When used as a co-emulsifier, it exhibits synergistic effects with other surfactants.

Dynasylan® MTES is an alkyltrialkoxysilane, plays a vital role in sol-gel systems. It appears as a colorless, low-viscosity liquid. Utilization involves hydrolysis catalyzed by acid or alkali. As a trifunctional compound, all three alkoxy groups partake in this reaction, enriched by the added organic character from the methyl group. Hydrolysis generates silanol groups that subsequently form highly stable siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-) through condensation. This parallel process occurs after a certain amount of silanol groups emerge. The pace of hydrolysis and condensation depends on pH, concentration, solvent, temperature, and the catalyst.

TEGOTEX® CS 0182 is a cationic softener composed of amidoamine ethoxyquat and based on a combination of vegetable and synthetic raw materials. Its advantages include providing yarn or fabric with a fluffy and bulky hand feeling, strong substantivity with easy adsorption in fabrics, antistatic properties, medium rewetting capabilities, low yellowing, cold-water dispersibility, and compatibility with nonionic, cationic, and amphiprotic surfactants while being incompatible with anionic surfactants.

ALBIDUR® VE 3940 is a concentrated dispersion, comprising 40% high-performance elastomer within a Bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin. This product serves the essential purpose of enhancing the toughness of vinyl ester resins that would otherwise be brittle. AEROSIL® R 972 is hydrophobic fumed silica grade treated with DDS (Dichlordimethylsilane). The moderate hydrophobicity of these AEROSIL® products is suited for defoaming properties in the presence of appropriate hydrophobic liquids. They are recomended for improving the sedimentation stability of defoamer dispersions as well.

ULTRASIL® VN 2 is primarily used at high filler loadings in PCT (passenger car tire) tread compounds without any loss in processing behavior. This silica is particularly well-suited for use in combination with bifunctional organosilanes, which help to optimize wet and winter properties. Additionally, high static moduli are observed with and without additional organosilanes. This is why ULTRASIL® VN 2 is also widely used in other mechanical rubber goods. It is available in both powder and granulated silica forms.

Evonik Modifier 715 is another SiH-terminated polydimethyl siloxane plasticizer for addition-curing silicones. These products do not crosslink but extend the chains of vinyl-terminated silicone polymers (Polymer VS). ULTRASIL® 880 is a precipitated silica that contains a calcium admixture and has a very low specific N2 surface area of approximately 35m²/g. When added to rubber mixtures, it provides excellent residual deformation and extrusion characteristics. ULTRASIL® 880 also enables the creation of profiles with minimal swelling and a very smooth surface. Even EPDM mixtures with extremely high filling grades (up to 200 parts per hundred of rubber) can still be processed with ease. In white mixtures, ULTRASIL® 880 can be used in partial substitution for titanium dioxide. The impact of sulfur adsorption is negligible.
