AFCONA – 4599 is a wetting and dispersing agent with special designed high molecular weight polyacrylate polymer. It makes the organic, inorganic pigments and carbon blacks more easily to be dispersed and more stable. Because of the special designed structure, AFCONA – 4599 has better water solubility but less influence to coating film of water resistance. And it is environmental friendly, without any co-solvent. It is very suit for low VOC water - based coating systems. Hence, it is very effective in below properties for water based systems:
- Much lower viscosities
- High color strength
- Better transparency of paint film
- No flooding and floating problems
- Little or no water-resistance influence

Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment:
- TiO2 : 2 - 5%
- Other inorganic pigments : 5 - 10%
- Organic pigments : 20 - 60%
- Carbon blacks : 40 - 80%
- Incorporation
AFCONA-4599 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.

AFCONA-4599 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 3 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
