PLASTI-GRIT abrasives are used for fast, safe, economical surface cleaning, paint stripping and coatings removal. Government approved MIL-P-85891, these custom-engineered non-toxic abrasives are widely used to remove paint from cars, planes, jets, trucks and parts. Plastic blast media is available in 5 grades of hardness, each in coarse, medium, fine sizes for a wide range of applications. Plastic media grits and powders are also excellent non-skid additives in flooring, urethane and epoxy.

unique white exfoliation scrub is made from 100% Tagua, a sustainably-sourced raw ingredient. Tagua is a biodegradable exfoliant used in cosmetic formulations and cleansing scrubs where a white color is preferred.

PLASTI-GRIT® TYPE III: MELAMINE is a thermoset Melamine Formaldehyde, meets the specifications of Mil-P-85891A. The finished product contains no inorganic fillers and is treated with an anti-static agent. Melamine is commonly used as an abrasive, blast media &amp; filler. Type III is the hardest, most aggressive grade of plastic media. Melamine is effective for mold cleaning, deflashing, removing tough paints &amp; primers, and cleaning grit &amp; grime from engines, turbines and parts.

PLASTI-GRIT® TYPE VI: CLEAR-CUT® is a light-weight thermoset Poly Allyl DiGlycol Carbonate, meets the requirements for a Type VI Grade A media as specified in MIL-P-85891A. The finished product contains no inorganic fillers and is treated with an anti-static agent. Type VI is commonly used as an abrasive, blast media, non-skid media, additive in paint &amp; epoxies, and filler applications.


PLASTI-GRIT® TYPE VI: CLEAR-CUT®

Apricot scrub is produced from carefully ground apricot pit shells. Apricot is an all-natural, sustainably-sourced, biodegradable raw ingredient that is widely used in cleansing scrubs, soaps and exfoliation formulations.

This all-natural, biodegradable ingredient is commonly used in adhesives, resins and epoxies, as well as for filtration, thickening and abrasion applications. Pecan Shell products are available in a wide range of sizes.

Composition Materials supplies 99.4% pure White Aluminum Oxide abrasive in all standard sizes. This product is used in a wide variety of industries including: automotive, aircraft, medical, dental, cosmetic and flooring. Obtained from the fusion of calcined alumina in electric arc furnaces, this sharp, fast-cutting, very hard abrasive is effective in media blasting, cleaning, glass etching and surface preparation. In the cosmetics industry, Microdermabrasion Crystals are used for exfoliation creams and skin treatments.  Since 1923, Composition Materials has supplied industries worldwide with abrasives and fillers.
