Calcit HydroPlex 60/78 is a natural, wet ground calcium carbonate. With an extremely bright color and constant viscosity it is used as a filler or a precoating pigment in the production of paper and board, improving their opacity, smoothness, glossiness and printability.

Suitable granulation allows the reduction of clay in the coating mixes and consequently increases whiteness of the coated papers and cardboard.

The narrow particle-size distribution and extreme whiteness contribute to high coverage, glossiness and smoothness of paper and board. Suitable granulation allows the reduction of clay and other additives.
