deconex® HPC 1202 has a wide range of applications as well as a high material compatibility due to its specific composition. deconex® HPC 1202 reliably removes residual amounts of oils and oil emulsions, easily adhering residues such as dust and fingerprints as well as alkaline residues and acid-soluble deposits. deconex® HPC 1202 points out the following special features:

Dosage

The optimal dosage depends essentially on the stubbornness and amount of contamination, the cleaning equipment used and the cleaning process. The use of fully salted water improves the cleaning properties and reduces the need for cleaners. deconex® HPC 1202 is most commonly used in the following concentration at the appropriate cleaning level / application:

The concentration can vary depending on pollution and plant technology. The process parameters (time and temperature) are to be adapted to the parts / materials to be cleaned.

Usage

deconex® HPC 1202 is a highly acidic cleaning concentrate for cleaning various materials. Due to its properties can deconex® HPC 1202 can be used for both pre-cleaning, final cleaning and neutralization after cleaning. deconex® HPC 1202 is suitable for backlash-free and reproducible cleaning in vacuum industry, semiconductor manufacturing and space technology. Instructions for Use

Due to the composition, deconex® HPC 1202 for optimal cleaning results with sensitive materials. The special formulation prevents a corrosive attack on the treated surfaces and thereby prolongs the life of the cleaning good. Information on the suitable materials is listed under the item Material compatibility. For specific material investigations, the company Borer Chemie AG provides further information on the respective materials or examines customer-specific material on the compatibility with deconex® HPC 1202. After cleaning, sufficient rinsing with fully salted water should take place. The sufficient flushing ensures non-stick surfaces. After cleaning with deconex® HPC 1202 does not require any additional neutralization step. deconex® HPC 1202 can be used in addition to the cleaning of components for the following applications: 

Maintenance and cleaning of cleaning plants -  Through a targeted concentration and exposure time, you can ensure that your cleaning system, despite high load and corresponding contaminants, always reaches a defined condition again and thus the required cleanliness of the components is ensured.

Commissioning of new treatment plants - Make sure that there are no residues from the manufacture of the cleaning plant in your process basin / work chamber, which may result in foreign contamination.

Depending on the type and amount of contamination, different contaminants can be used with deconex® HPC products are required. We recommend a final rinse with the product deconex® HPC 1202 to ensure a uniform basic precondition for achieving the required purity.

Process Monitoring

During process monitoring, there are the following possibilities for concentration determination:

  • Conductivity measurement.
  • Titration measurement (acid / base determination).
  • pH value measurement.

In principle, all water-resistant types of aluminum, brass and bronze can with deconex® HPC 1202 can be cleaned. In view of the variety of the corresponding alloys, we recommend, for safety reasons, the durability of the materials against deconex ® Test HPC 1202 at the specific use temperature and concentration. For non-named materials, you can conduct your own compatibility studies or order from Borer Chemie AG. deconex® HPC 1202 is not suitable for materials which are water resistant.
