Product Properties
  • AFCONA-2027 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It has the combination of good defoaming as well as compatibility with most resin systems. It is recommended for medium viscosity applications applied by spray and brush.
  • AFCONA-2027 is AFCONA – 2025 in Ethyl Acetate solvent, specially created for printing ink application. It can be used in low polar to high polar system. Thus it can be used in all printing ink system ranging from offset, gravure, flexo to UV systems.
  • For coating, it is the most suitable defoamer for aliphatic hydrocarbon system where all aromatic and ketone solvents are not allow.

Addition and dosage

Addition and dosage
0.1- 1.0% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.20 – 0.40% based on total formulation.
Incorporation
AFCONA-2027 can be incorporated prior to processing. If it is added subsequently, good dispersion must be ensured.

AFCONA – 2027 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
