One-Way 6 combines very high strength with good flexibility and can be used on a wide range of products including glue bond, resin/glue, full resin, and waterproof coated abrasives for narrow and wide belts. All Adirondack One-Way products are supplied with our exclusive primer system which has been specifically designed to promote adhesion of urethane adhesives to the tape. This specially designed polymer primer impregnates the fiber bundles and reduces yarn splitting that can occur with high viscosity adhesive systems. In addition, the primer stops filament displacement that can occur during adhesive application on loop type knife coaters.
Processing
Primed ADK tapes are advantageously used in a two-way adhesive application using contact bonding under pressure with heat activation.

Storage & Handling

One-Way 6 is stable for at least 1 year when stored under cool, dry conditions (about 72°F). It must be protected from exposure to humidity and direct sunlight.
