It is a clear, slightly yellow, and odorless oil.

Additionally, it contains a low level of cyclic silicone by-products D4, D5, and D6, which are present in less than 0.1%. The high-molecular-weight dimethiconol fluid is formed in situ during the emulsification process, while the formation of cyclic silicones is effectively suppressed through the use of a carefully selected emulsifier system.

BELSIL® DM 3096 is a blend of low-viscosity dimethicones and a high-molecular-weight dimethiconol. Due to its composition, it combines the properties of low-viscosity fluids and extremely high-viscosity dimethiconol. BELSIL® eco TMS 803 is a co-hydrolysis product derived from tetraalkoxysilane (Q unit) and trimethylethoxysilane (M unit). Its chemical structure forms a three-dimensional network of polysilic acid units, which are capped with trimethylsilyl groups. Some residual ethoxy and hydroxy functionalities are also present. This product is based on renewable raw materials and adheres to the "TÜV NORD Standard REDcert²." It is a white powder that is manufactured to be largely free of aromatic solvents like toluene. It possesses excellent rheological properties thanks to its low content of fine dust particles and uniform particle size distribution, ensuring good flowability.
