Mosselman Sunflower Oil Refined (8001-21-6) is obtained from the seeds of the plant “Helianthus annuus”. It is used for edible purposes as a cooking and salad oil and in the manufacture of margarines. In cosmetics it is used for after sun skin and hair care, for sensible skin care and to produce nourishing creams.

Macadamianut Oil is obtained from the fruit of the macadamia tree (Macadamia sp). The macadamia tree belongs to the Proteaceae family. Its fruit has a fatty oil content ranging between 70 and 75 percent. Originally native to Australia, the macadamia tree is now also grown in South Africa, South America and Hawaii.

Mosselman Stearic Acid 1892 (67701-03-5) is the most common saturated fatty acid occuring in natural fats. The commercial stea-ric acid contains palmitic and stearic acid.

Safflower Oil is obtained from the seeds of the safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.), which belongs to the aster or sunflower family (Asteraceae). The seeds have an oil content of approximately 30 percent. Originally widespread across an area ranging from Egypt and the Middle East to Central Europe, today the safflower is mainly cultivated in the United States, Central America, Argentina and Australia.

Mosselman Linseed Oil Refined - Feed Grade (8001-26-1) is obtained from the seed of the plant “Linum usitatissium”.

Organic Palm Stearin (ECP0007) is cooled and filtered, the oil separates into organic palm olein (liquid) and organic palm stearin (solid) fractions. Palm stearin is a useful natural hard stock. Besides edible usage, palm stearin also possesses suitable properties for making soaps and formulating animal feeds. Organic palm stearin is solid at room temperature with a high melting point (48° C).

Hemp Oil is obtained from hemp (Cannabis sativa) seeds. The plant is extremely resilient and adaptive, but needs a lot of water to grow. The seeds have an oil content ranging between 26 and 35 percent. Today, hemp is mainly grown in Asia, America and Europe.

Borageseed Oil is obtained from the seeds of the borage plant (Borago officinalis). Borage is an annual plant and belongs to the Boraginaceae family. The seeds contain around 30 percent oil. Borage was originally native to the Mediterranean, but is now found in both cultivated and wild form in Canada, Eastern Europe, the UK, New Zealand and China.
