Chemguard S-550 High Performance Nonionic Fluorosurfactant is an ethoxylated nonionic fluorosurfactant. It provides surface tensions as low as 17 dyn/cm in water at low concentrations, and is surface active in many other solvents. Chemguard S-550 imparts enhanced wetting, spreading, leveling, and flow control properties to various types of waterbased and solvent-based formulations. It is ideal for coating formulations designed to coat difficult substrates because of its extremely low equilibrium surface tension and excellent dynamic surface tension properties.

FluorAcryl 1939 is a bifunctional perfluoropolyether (PFPE) urethane acrylate. FluorAcryl is a surface modifier that improves gloss. It is compatible and miscible with low molecular weight reactive UV-curable diluents and acrylic monomers. Some of the properties of FluorAcryl 1939 include good release agent, good water and oil repellency and good chemical resistance. As a surface modifier this also offers good hardness, substrate-wetting and flow-properties. Recommended dosage is between 0.5–5% w/w. During application and UV light curing, FluorAcryl blooms quickly and effectively on the surface of the coating, imparting low surface energy and non-stick E2C properties. FluorAcryl is made for UV curable coatings use.

Michem® Glide 37 provides mar, abrasion, slip and high temperature resistance for a variety of applications within the paint and coating industries.

Ultrafine™ 5W A is a Lawter™ micronized powder. It is a micronized pure polytetrafluoroethylene powder designed to help ink and coatings formulations achieve maximum rub resistance and lowest C.O.F. Ultrafine 5W A may be used in combination with other polymers for the most effective balance of cost versus performance.

Ultrapoly™ 211 A is a PTFE modified version of Ultrapoly 210 A. Ultrapoly 211 A is a high performance blend of tough, low COF polyethylene/PTFE dispersed in a hard drying binder. Ultrapoly 211 A is recommended where a high degree of slip, heat resistance, and abrasion resistance are required. Ultrapoly 211 A is 100% non-volatile and fast-setting. It protects the film in the earliest stages of the printing process while developing exceptional toughness over time. Ultrapoly 211 A is coatable and may be used for laser work. For optimum heat resistance, we recommend using 3 parts Ultrapoly 211 A to 1 part Fluoron™ 735 A (a 50% PTFE concentrate). Recommended usage level is 3 to 5%.

Ultrafine™ 1W A is a polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder used to improve surface properties of printing inks and coatings. Ultrafine 1W A is designed for lubricity, abrasion and heat resistance and may be used in combination with other waxes for the most effective balance of cost and performance. Recommended usage level is 1 to 4%.

Ultrapoly™ 215 A is a softer-bodied, pumpable version of Ultrapoly 211 A. Ultrapoly 215 A is a high performance blend of tough, low COF polyethylene/PTFE and is recommended where a high degree of lubricity, abrasion and mar resistance, heat resistance, and pumpability are required. Ultrapoly 215 A is a 100% non-volatile and fast-setting, protecting the film in the earliest stages of the printing process, while developing exceptional toughness over time. Chemguard S-554-100 imparts enhanced wetting, spreading, leveling, and flow control properties to various types of waterbased and solvent-based coating formulations. It is ideal for coating formulations designed to coat difficult substrates because of its extremely low equilibrium surface tension and excellent dynamic surface tension properties.

Chemguard S-764P-12A is a short chain, phosphate ester type fluorosurfactant. It is water based and free from volatile organic compounds (VOC). It provides surface tensions as low as 18 dyn/cm in water at very low concentrations. ChemguardS-764P-12A imparts enhanced wetting, spreading, leveling, anti-blocking, and flow control properties to various types of water-based coatings. It is therefore excellent for architectural paints and stains, concrete coatings, industrial coatings, and aqueous hydrocarbon surfactant solutions. ChemguardS-764P-12A has excellent dynamic surface tension properties which allow the rapid attainment of low equilibrium surface tensions. It is low foaming and can provide improved dirt pick-up resistance to exterior paints and interior low gloss paints, sealers, and stains.

Chemguard S-764P-14A imparts excellent wetting, spreading, leveling, anti-blocking, and flow control properties on various types of water-based coatings for architectural paints and stains, concrete coatings, industrial coatings, and hydrocarbon surfactant solutions. Chemguard S-764P-14A has excellent dynamic surface tension properties which allow for the rapid attainment of low equilibrium surface tensions. It is low foaming and can provide improved dirt pick-up resistance to exterior paints and interior low-gloss paints, sealers, and stains.

Dynax DX4000 is a highly effective and efficient product, especially designed to provide rapid spreading, wetting and leveling performance to various water-based coating systems, such as paints, inks, floor polishes, etc., on low surface tension substrates that are difficult to wet out. DX4000 provides both superior dynamic and equilibrium surface tensions compared to conventional surfactants including fluorochemical and silicone surfactants: it quickly lowers the surface tension of aqueous solutions down to 16 dynes/cm at a very low concentration. DX4000 can be used without a defoaming agent because of its low foaming tendency

FluorAcryl 7298 is a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) used as an additive in other UV curable coatings to reduce surface tension and improve water, oil and stain resistance. Films and coatings with 7298 may be expected to provide anti-fouling and easy cleaning from fingerprints and other contaminants. FluorAcryl 7298 is compatible with many monomers, such as TMPTA. With or without pigments and other particulates, 7298 rapidly UV cures in the presence or absence of oxygen.
